is Equi-Safe Fence made of?
Equi-Safe
Fence is made of High Density Polyethylene Plastic, also known as HDPE.
What
is the value of HDPE over PVC?
The
physical properties associated with HDPE offers strength in all
temperatures and UV resistance to maintain its appearance and resist
abuse associated with fencing.
What
is involved in installing Equi-Safe Fencing?
Installation
is as standard as any fencing. Posts
are shipped pre-drilled to accommodate the horizontals.
Holes are dug to place the posts.
We recommend a 2 – 2.5’ depth, and fill around and within
the post. The horizontal
rails, which are 16.5’ long, are slid through the pre-drilled holes
and pinned every 3rd post. Many of our customers install
the fencing themselves.
How
are the internal connections made?
The one
big difference between Equi-Safe Fencing and most others is that there
are fewer connections to be made.
The horizontal rails are 16.5’ long so the internal
connections only need to be made every 3rd post (not every
post).
What
is Equi-Safe’s warranty?
Equi-Safe
Fence currently carries a 30 year warranty.
How
is Equi-Safe Fence Electrified?
A thin
stainless steel wire is embedded into the top layer of all horizontal
rails during production. Once installed, you can easily attach a solar
electric fence controller or standard electric to electrify the fence.
Can
the span of the double gate accommodate a vehicle?
Our
double gate comes with a removable center latching post; therefore the
span when fully opened is 10+ feet.
